Over the years I’ve enjoyed public speaking, providing valuable messages to the audience. Addressing groups as small as six to speaking engagements as large as 6,000; the larger the audience, the more thrilling the experience. Several years ago my singing voice coach, David Reuther in Temecula asked if I’d “ever considered Voiceovers,” which confirmed what I’ve heard and thought for many years… this is my time!
I began my career in Finance, working for the likes of EF Hutton, Rauscher Pierce Refsnes, and Financial Corporation of America.
After six years in the finance world, I found a new passion in the computer / software industry, working with tech giants such as Microsoft, Cisco, and Trend Micro.
As a longtime resident and community member of Fallbrook, in San Diego County, I ventured into a more altruistic calling, volunteering as a docent for the SDSU Santa Margarita Ecological Reserve, hosting the last free flowing river in Southern California, providing protection of California Native Habitat, biodiversity and space for research and education of southern California ecosystems.
This experience had a profound effect on my life’s focus, leading me to become a board member and eventually chairman of the Fallbrook Land Conservancy, whose mission is to preserve and enhance the rural character and natural beauty of our area through the permanent protection of open space and related activities.
As a member of many Toastmasters Clubs throughout the years, I recognize this organization as a huge confidence builder, enhancing and empowering my ability to speak publicly with purpose and passion, and helping me to evolve to this point in my life today.
